We're Live!

The last time I had an active blog I was 15 years old, chronicling the weekly life of a girl who didn't know why her friends were hanging out without her and did know she wanted to make movies for a living. Now, I can proudly say that if my friends hang out without me, I have the internal fortitude to call them out on it, and I'm nowhere near making motion pictures for a living but I'm getting there -- the road is long and treacherous. 

I plan to write here periodically, although I'm fairly certain the only people who will read this blog are a handful of my closest friends, at best. Still, I'm kind of happy I'm starting this. I've been looking for a platform to share some of the things that run through my mind sometimes, and what better place than my own website? Narcissism at its finest. Also, I think it's good for me at this point in my life to start a project that inherently demands consistency. A little structure is what I need right now. 

Anyway, check back for possible melodramatic posts masquerading as inspiration!

P.S. I used to do this on my old blog, and honestly it was my favorite part :)
